A simple formality.

Sometimes getting accepted is not the most difficult task in an endeavor.

And indeed, this time it was actually the easiest. I just said “I want to go to Finland!” and I got a chance to prove myself. (Thank you!) Then the school threw me into the pit and I had to survive the bureaucracy jungle.

Immediately that one scene from Asterix and Obelix came to mind where they had to fulfill the task of gettin "permit No. A-38" in the “place that sends you mad”. I think some of you will start smiling in rememberance now. That one task that seemed to actually pose a relatable challenge in the whole film for our heroes. For the Erasmus mobility programme there are a lot of documents to fill in, hand over, get signed, get checked… I never felt like I was on top of things and even 7 days before my flight to Finland I still don’t have everything finished. (Not my fault, I swear!)

I usually survive through lists… So I tried making one for all the responsibilities and documents in the Erasmus programme and offered it to my fellow erasmus fighters, they appreciated it which in turn made me very happy 🙂It’s the simple things in life.

And then there is the duty of reporting my progress … I decided to write this blog but… I had a lot of moments where I regretted doing so. I never thought I would be so stressed out by a website builder. But done is done. Already change providers once 😂 Hopefully I can improve the layouts here during my time abroad 🙂

So. New skill unlocked. Needs practice though. b(￣▽￣)d
