I'm so tired... short version this week.
Monday: reshelving, new theme table about robots, very popular!, shelf revision of fiction, repairs and class visits
Tuesday: more reshelving, check in & out, more classes! printing shelf marks for the new arrivals from the book fair. shelf-revision non-fiction.
Wednesday: Even more reshelving, checking and classes!!! Preparing and presenting a demo for the school's library system WeLib. Went quite well. Students engaged and behaved. Color me impressed.

Thursday: ... You guessed it. Reshelving! See a pattern? :> Sorting out non-fiction books: math, space, cooking, local nature.
Oh right, Halloween. The school was obviously very much into it. The winners of the costume contest were grapes. My mentor decided to go as the red blood cell from the manga Hataraku Saibou / Cells at work!. I very much recommend it. Medically very accurate depictions according to doctors on YouTube. And funny. Teachers were ranging from with to monk to cowboy. The most unpopular thing was probably the black Lametta-curtain in the hallway door. It got ripped to shreds during the week (see picture left bottom corner). We heard all the complains in our library loud and clear xD

Our book recommendations for spooky week. I loved the pun on the top right book: tapaan vs tapan. Tapaan means meet and tapan means kill. So ripping the a makes it go from "Maybe I'll meet you again" to "Maybe I'll kill you again". The colors are lovely too.
Friday: SURPRISE! No reshelving! No, seriously. I deleted lost copies from the system that never came back after it was switched from the old one. I also got an introduction to cataloguing in WeLib. Very simple: Data import from the public libraries, changing the subject headings to include English instead of Swedish (except it's a book in Swedish), maybe add some, and then changing the classification to match our version.
Fin(n)ished.
